After a career in business, Marcy now has the chance to indulge in her passion for creating and painting. Years of training with the Sumie Society in Toronto has influenced a lot of her painting. She learned that “less is more” to produce a piece of beauty. Marcy sometimes uses whimsy in some of her portraits to give the canvas warmth and vibrant colors, while maintaining the image of the personality being represented.
