The Portrait Society of Canada , professional organization formed to foster and enhance an understanding of practice, techniques of Fine Art Portraiture and Sculpture.
The Portrait Society of Canada was established in 2001 by a group of professional Portrait Artists based in Toronto with a purpose of education and communication with the public on the Traditions of Fine art Portraiture and Sculpture.

Portrait Society of Canada provides a membership for Canadian and International Portrait Artists and Sculptors.
All eligible Artists dedicated to the Fine Art Portraiture and Sculpture can apply for the Membership any time.
The Portrait Society Membership divided into four categories:

• Portrait Artist General
• International Portrait Artist
• Visual Art Student
• Corporate /Galleries/ Agents

1. Portrait Artist General
   Open to Visual Artists and Sculptors, who are dedicated to the discipline of Fine Art Portraiture and Sculpture. Must be of legal age and reside in Canada.
   
   Annual Membership Fee: 100.00 CAD



2. International Portrait Artist
   Open to International Fine Artists and Sculptors residing outside Canada.
   
   Annual membership Fee: 100.00 USD



3. Visual Art Student
   Open to young Visual Artists 18 – 25 years old, enrolled in a course of Study At a Fine Art Institution of Learning (Copy of Student ID required).
   
   Annual Membership Fee: 75.00 CAD



4. Corporate /Service /Agent
   Open to Corporations, such as Artists Agencies, Galleries, Artists Magazines, Art Supply Manufactures.
   
   Annual Membership Fee: 500.00 CAD

HOW TO APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP

1. Complete the Membership Application Form.
   Please be advise that application will require your Artist Statement and 3 samples of your Portraiture works- photos, slides, prints are accepted.



2. Enclose your Membership Annual Fee( Visa, Master Card, Personal Checks, Money Orders are accepted).



3. Send your Application Form along with your Annual Membership Fee to:

Your Application will be review by the Society Membership Committee within one month.
All successful candidates will be notified by mail.
All rejected Applications will be returned along with the Annual Membership Fee payment.
