As a classically trained artist and art teacher for nearly two decades I believe that maintaining traditional knowledge such as theory, technique and technology enable the modern artists to more accurately render their experience.
In my opinion there is no subject in painting that can better describe the human experience than a portrait.
I hope that by maintaining the classical painting knowledge and transmitting it to my students I can help to keep the tradition alive for generation to come.
