 I have always been obsessed with faces. Faces, because when I see a face there is more than what is presented at the surface through the features, lines and expression. I experience insight into the soul. Creating the portrait illuminates soul beyond what the face itself often gives permission to see. Capturing the soul through art creates an intimacy of the being and through it I experience the intimacy, and oneness of the universe.
