I have chosen to paint the human being because it is one of the most challenging subjects to master. It is also one of the most rewarding for its higher potential of emotional content.
I'm working "Alla Prima" direct from live model, and I finish a painting within a 3 to 4 hours session. I try to find the best equilibrium possible between the likeness of the sitter and the aesthetic of an artwork that will travel through ages.
