I studied at the Ontario College of Art giving me a unique opportunity to study the human figure in depth. I strive to bring clarity and honesty to my work looking below the skin at the human condition with empathy. I feel portraiture is a wonderful venue for exploring and sharing our strengths, frailties and vulnerabilities. A portrait should not only capture thephysical likeness of the subject but also the uniqueness of the person within.
